The late Victor Nunes Leal, former minister of the Federal Supreme Court, retired compulsorily after the military coup of 1964, joins Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados office and, through his initiative, the partnership is formalized with the registration of its articles of association with OAB – São Paulo Section.

The late Prof. Dr. Antônio Roberto Sampaio Dória, internationally renowned tax lawyer, joins Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados.

After having been an intern at the firm and practicing as a lawyer and general counsel in renowned companies and banks, Manoel Araújo Tucunduva became a partner of Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados

Rachel Tucunduva, Evadren Antônio Flaibam and Nelson Raimundo de Figueiredo, lawyers hired in the previous decade, become partners of Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados.

When retiring in the judiciary of the State of São Paulo, Nereu Cesar de Moraes joins the office Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados, acting in the civil, administrative and penal areas.

After years of acting in multinational companies, Maurice van den Berch van Heemstede enters the office Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados to develop the area of foreign trade.

Rodrigo Arantes Barcellos Corrêa become partner of Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados. It is consolidated the process, initiated years before, of development of different teams specialized in several areas of law, enabling the office to meet the needs of its clients in an increasingly comprehensive manner.

Barcellos Tucunduva Advogados completes 50 years of excellence in providing advocacy services and celebrates the goal moving to a larger space at Alameda Itú, Jardins, (São Paulo), capable of supporting the growth of the office.

José Luis Leite Doles adds to the office his solid experience in Capital Markets, Banking and Financial Law, having integrated the legal department of BankBoston for seventeen years, fourteen of them as general counsel.

In December of that same year, Giancarllo Melito, PhD in Civil Law by the Law School of Universidade de São Paulo and University of Angers, France, becomes a partner.

Eduardo Zangerolami, a tax lawyer who started his career in the office as a trainee, becomes a partner.

As part of its expansion and to meet the demand of clients in Rio de Janeiro, the office opens its branch in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

Ricardo dos Santos de Almeida Vieira and Otavio Augusto de Lara Borsato become partners in the area of Corporate Law, Financial and Capital Markets, Investment Funds.
As a result of its growth and with the goal of working in a more integrated space, the office moves its headquarters to Avenida Juscelino Kubitschek 1726, in São Paulo.

Due to its outstanding role in the investment funds area, Barcellos Tucunduva joined IR Global, an international network of professionals and legal, accounting and financial consulting companies operating in more than 150 jurisdictions.
Karin Klempp Franco becomes a partner of the office and inaugurates the area of Intellectual Property and Data Privacy.

As part of its expansion and to meet customer demand in Brasilia, the office opens its branch in the federal district.
