He has solid training and experience in the area of Banking and Financial Law, part of the Legal Department of BankBoston-Brazil for 17 years, 14 of them as general counsel. He built the BankBoston Legal Unit in Brazil, as well as the Compliance activity, and acquired great experience and knowledge in creating innovative financial products and in the implementation of corporate governance and risk management programs. Previously, he was Senior Counsel at Citibank-Brasil. He developed extensive knowledge in the areas of Foreign Trade, Foreign Exchange, Foreign Trade Financing, Treasury Operations, Structured Operations in general and banking products in the Brazilian and international markets. He was director of ANBID – Associação Nacional de Bancos de Investimento (2003/2006), where he coordinated the Legal and Compliance Committee. Member of the Audit Committee of Financial Institutions.
Member of the audit committee of Banco ABC Brasil S.A, since July 2018.
